Since June 2016 we all know it: Treesha has the Rude Gyal Swing! The club hit “Rude Gyal Swing” topped the MTV German Urban Charts on position 1, and stayed in the top 5 for seven weeks. Now the time has come for Treesha to bless the stages of clubs and festivals with her charismatic appearance and her unparalleled style.
In addition to Treesha’s many years of experience as a background singer at the highest
international level, the recent release of her debut album “Listen” propelled her into the spotlight. Her charisma and vocal talent already impressed the masses at several festivals such as the Reeds Festival in Switzerland and the Reggae Geel Festival in Belgium in the summer of 2016.
Treesha’s musical domain is unmistakably Reggae, especially Lovers Rock and Modern Roots. In addition, her music has been influenced by other musical styles, which have grown organically into the compound style that makes Treesha unique. This is how Pop, R’n’B, Soul, Dancehall and traditional music from her African homeland Kenya create the organic blend that defines her style.
Treesha, together with her band, enters the stage as an energetic artist; someone who understands how to draw the audience into her spell, to move the audience not only in an artistic level, but on an emotional level as well.
